Beginning from a small office in the Port Royal Condominium in Old Town Alexandria under the tutelage of John W. Walker (Walker Real Estate), agents who specialized in the luxury high-rise buildings of Rosslyn (e.g., The Atrium and The Belvedere) formed a corporation whose name highlighted their specialty. Since then Condo 1 has built a strong following among condominium owners in Arlington, Alexandria, Falls Church and other areas of Northern Virginia. We also have become the most active real estate brokerage firm in several townhouse communities. In addition, our property management division has grown from managing individual units to small commercial projects.

Thomas K. Meyer – President and Founder of Condo 1, is a licensed real estate broker who has specialized in condominium and townhouse properties since 1988.  In 1993 he formed Condo 1 in order to serve owners and buyers in Arlington and Alexandria condominium communities.  Over the ensuing three decades Mr. Meyer and his agents have handled over 1000 condominium sales for local clients and rented thousands more.

Mr. Meyer is a graduate of the University of Illinois and earned his MBA in international business at Thunderbird in Arizona.  He also studied economics at the Universitat Heidelberg in Germany.  He has served on the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors Political Action Committee, the boards of directors for both the Odyssey Condominium in Arlington and the Woodlake Towers Condominium in Falls Church, is a member of the Friedman Foundation for Educational Choice, and is a former member of the Virginia Association of Realtors Political Action Committee.  He is also a member of the National Space Society, the Institute for Justice and the Cato Institute.  In his spare time Mr. Meyer travels, hikes, writes bad science fiction stories nobody will publish and has done Zero-G cosmonaut training in Russia.  He speaks English, French, German and enough Spanish to order tacos….

Kimberly Andreassen is the Director of Maintenance at Condo1. She is in charge of handling all the maintenance requests that come in, and hiring all the contractors to do the necessary work. Kimberly has an emergency 24-hour line where tenants can reach her at all times. She also handles accounting for the office and payroll for contractors. Antonio is a licensed VA Realtor who joined the Condo 1 team in the Spring of 2021. Coming out of high school, he decided to pursue a career in criminal justice. After a few years in school, he realized that his passion was not there for it and decided to follow a different career path. Shortly after the pandemic, he decided to get his real estate license and work with the Condo 1 team. He loves building connections, networking, and helping others achieve their goals. With over 48 Real Estate transactions and $5Mill+ in volume (Sales and Rentals) Antonio earned NVAR Top Producer’s highest achievement in 2022.
